The Avery Oliver Emergency Response Training Center

The Avery Oliver Emergency Response Training Center was completed in 1996. It was designed and built by the industry that surrounds the Mobile, Alabama area.

This was a unique venture that was a vision of the late Avery Oliver. Avery was a safety professional that worked at DuPont Chemicals. It was Avery’s dream to have an emergency response training facility where industry could go and be educated in emergency response techniques. Yes, there were other industrial training facilities but he imagined one that was small enough to customize its programs to the needs of the individual company verses a training center where companies were treated as just a number.

At Oliver Field we hope that we have fulfilled this dream for him. Let us customize a training program for your plant. Or maybe you want to complete your own structured training program. That is also possible at our facility!
