Command Training
There is NO substitute for experience when it comes to controlling and mitigating a catastrophic event that endangers both the lives of your response team members and others that may be negatively affected by the event. Gulf Coast Emergency Response Academy offers incident command level training for those expected to lead a response to either an industrial fire, a hazardous materials release or a technical rescue event. OSHA requires personnel in these positions to receive training enabling them to make the right decisions when time is critical. The Gulf Coast Emergency Response Academy staff available to instruct these courses have acted in these leadership roles in actual emergency events around the country. These experiences include major hazardous materials releases, industrial / chemical fires, train derailments, tornados and hurricanes, and many others. The Gulf Coast Emergency Response Academy staff will bring lessons learned from these events and others to the classroom.

Command and Control, Communication, Accountability are all keys to successfully mitigating an emergency event at your facility.
